2 Close ones...

Thats right we are talking about the KU vs Nebraska game and the MU vs Texas A&M.

Nebraska put up an amazing performance against KU which I am sure no one expected them to do, did anyone see a 3 point game being a result of the matchup??

Texas A&M upset MU as well the other day in another 3 point win. Is Texas A&M a contendor for the south at all at this point because I am still thinking that Oklahoma is the only threat to the north.

MU has lost their last 3 games and can not seem to pull off a close or late game win, is this just me or are they really fallingm apart in everyone else's eyes?

I believe that if MU still wants to be taken seriosuly in the North they need to take a lesson from KU and learn how to finish a game out and actually win.

Point goes to KU in my book for staying solid even in close ones

  1. It’s easy for one to say that Nebraska played amazing against Kansas, but I’m a firm believer that quite the opposite is true. Yes, the stalwart defense of Nebraska caused problems for the Jayhawks, but the first 20 minutes of the game was riddled by unnecessary turnovers, missed opportunities, and low-grade defending by Kansas.

As close as it was, I was definitely happy to see them [Kansas] turn it around in the second half and overcome a 10-pt deficit to keep the 69 game home winning streak alive. Beware all who enter the Phog!

Around the conference, lackluster playing by the Tigers continued their losing streak, and the window of opportunity to move up to 2nd in the Big 12 North, (in front on K-State), is beginning to close. Meager performances, by both the Tigers and Wildcats, have allowed the dismal Huskers and Buffalos to surge in their last season with the Big 12.

Oklahoma continues to remain a powerhouse in the Big 12 South, and will make the Big 12 Tournament a challenge for all opponents. Meanwhile the remaining teams in the South battle it out with one another.
